Don’t put an inexpensive or marginal foreline pump on your high vacuum system (this includes some refurbished pumps)! If they begin to lose their pumping capacity, they will directly affect the overall pumping capacity of your total high vacuum system, resulting in more ion transmission loss (lower signal) and higher background (even lower signal/noise ratio). This is a new Edwards E2M1.5 Foreline Pump with a KF-10/NW-10 intake port. It is a direct replacement for the original E2M1.5 Foreline Pumps shipped with 5973A/N GC/MSDs, and it can also be used to replace the small Pfeiffer foreline pumps that were shipped with the Agilent 5975 GC/MSDs. Both of these MSDs use a KF-16 fitting on the pump end of their vacuum hoses, and this can match the KF-16 intake port on this pump using an adaptive KF-10 to KF-16 o-ring.

- The recommended oil for this pump is Inland 45.

- This pump is rated for 115 VAC, and has a standard cord & plug that plugs into an AC socket. The List price includes GLTS supplying a pig-tail cord adapter to connect the standard plug into an IEC plug that will fit into the Foreline Pump socket on the back of your 5973/75 MSD.

- An adaptive o-ring is required when using this pump's KF-10 intake port with other KF-16 fittings.

This is a new Edwards RV3 Foreline Pump with a KF-25 intake port. This is a direct replacement for older E2M2 Foreline Pumps, or can also be used to replace the smaller Edwards E2M1.5 Foreline Pumps or Pfeiffer small foreline pumps that were shipped with the Agilent 5973 & 5975 GC/MSDs (the RV3 pump runs noticeably quieter than the smaller pumps, and features more pumping capacity to back up the high vacuum turbo or diffusion pump in your MSD).

The RV3 pump has a standard 120 volt AC plug that should be plugged directly into an AC power source. GLTS will provide a label that can be placed above the MSD power switch "External Pump - On First & Off Last".

- The recommended oil for this pump is Inland 45.

- This pump is switch-selectable for 115 or 230 VAC operation.

- When replacing smaller pumps, this RV3 pump should not be adapted to draw power from the 5973, 5975, or 5977 Foreline Pump socket on the back of the MSD, as it may draw too much current and damage the MSD.

- When replacing smaller pumps with KF-16 intake flanges, order the KF-16 to KF-25 adapter, and a KF-25 coseal & clamp to be able to adapt your current vacuum hose with its KF-16 fitting to the RV3's KF-25 intake flange.

- If this pump is replacing an Edwards E2M2 pump (eg. for 5970/71/72 MSDs), then order the pig-tail adapter to allow it to plug into the pump power socket on the back of the MSD.

This is a new Edwards RV5 Foreline Pump with a KF-25 intake port. This is a direct replacement for the RV5 pump that Agilent uses with their 7000 Triple Quadrupole GC/MS Systems.

The RV5 pump has a standard 120 volt AC plug. GLTS has adapters available to connect this cord into the back of Agilent MSDs.

- The recommended oil for this pump is Inland 45.

- This pump is switch-selectable for 115 or 230 VAC operation.

- When replacing smaller pumps, this RV5 pump should be plugged directly into a power source capable of supplying needed current (such as a wall outlet).

- When replacing smaller pumps with KF-16 intake flanges, order the KF-16 to KF-25 adapter, and a KF-25 coseal & clamp to be able to adapt your current vacuum hose with its KF-16 fitting to the RV5's KF-25 intake flange.
